 Kelly Fowler

I’m 5 ft 11, 42 and have been enjoying expressing my feminine side intermittently for the past 20 years.

While I enjoyed occasional opportunities to dress in my late teens and early 20’s (vicars and tarts parties were always fun) and discreetly borrowing clothes from girl friends, it’s only been over the last 10 years that I have fully engaged in my other side with the official emergence of Kelly.

Much of this has been down to the tremendously, supportive TG community as well as the plethora of fabulous dressing services. Not having the opportunity to have much of a wardrobe and still coming to terms with doing my own make-up, I’ve been enormously indebted over the last few years to some lovely and incredibly supportive people such as Susie from Chateau Femme, Julie from Sophies, Sophie from Translife and in my view the queen of professional dressing services today – Cindy from Boys will be Girls.

In terms of my personal preferences, I love to look classy glamorous with sexy little black dresses a must and lots of leg and shiny nylons! I also love black silk and sexy lingerie. I’m also partial to pushing the boundaries though with other interesting looks. I must confess, however, that cross dressing remains just a hobby and I’m not interested in taking it any further.

And as for the future? My number one goal is to build up more confidence in going out more and embracing the TG community in person rather than virtually. It’s been a great journey so far and I’m enjoying every moment of it!

And thank you Rachel for making me girl of the month. It’s an honor to be in the company of so many girls I have admired over the years.
